FAQ
Wholesale & private-label questions
What is the minimum order for private-label dried seafood?
Private-label minimums depend on the pack format, because printed packaging has its own minimum run. As a guide, plain packs with a printed label start lower than custom-printed boxes or pouches. Share your formats and we will quote the minimum per SKU.
Can you design the packaging artwork?
We can provide dielines, format templates and label-content checklists, and can introduce design partners. Most brand owners prefer to supply their own artwork, which we review against the label content your destination requires before printing.
Who is responsible for label compliance?
We check that the required content is present: product name, species, origin, net weight, allergens, storage, lot code and dates. Final regulatory approval of labels and any marketing statements remains with the brand owner or importer of record in the destination market.
Can I mix dried and frozen products in one shipment?
Dried products can travel with frozen products only if the whole consignment is held at frozen temperature, which suits some dried lines but not packaged retail goods. We usually recommend separate ambient and reefer shipments, or air freight for small frozen volumes.
Do you offer exclusive supply for a market?
For established contract programs we can discuss market-specific arrangements on selected grades or private-label formats. Talk to an export specialist about your plans.
